Jessica Brondo (President)

Jessica founded The Edge in College Preparation, an elite international educational consulting company that specializes in test preparation and admissions counseling, in 2005, one year after graduating from Princeton University. During her time at Princeton, she tutored and taught SAT prep courses in New York and, upon graduating, worked as a Site Director for a prestigious SAT prep company. She, like most students, hated the SATs in high school, but found a way to master the test in the most efficient way possible, leaving students (and herself) with more time to partake in other more worthy pursuits. Jessica has worked with thousands of high school students to help them prepare for all aspects of the college admissions process and loves being able to help student gain acceptance to their dream schools. She currently resides in New York City, but spends a considerable amount of time traveling the world and seeing all its wonders.

Ashley Wellington (Director of Programming: US)

Ashley graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English Literature. She also earned a certificate in Creative Writing for putting together a collection of original work, and was the recipient of the Theodore Weiss Creative Writing award. She then moved to Scotland for a year and earned an M.Litt with Distinction in English from the University of St. Andrews. Upon her return, Ashley moved to NYC and spent a year thinking she wanted to pursue a career in advertising. Eventually, though, she found her way back to the things she truly loves: teaching and writing. She tutors a wide range of academic subjects, as well as the SAT, ACT, ISEE and the Literature SAT Subject Test. When she’s not trying to finish her novel, she enjoys backpacking, doing crossword puzzles, and playing with her puppy, Nancy Drew.
